Its horrible.
The city of Christchurch is left in ruins after its second earthquake.
Watching the footage live a couple of days ago was as strange and sobering feeling. It was like watching what i would have thought doesn't ever happen to us in New Zealand. 98 are now confirmed dead which is huge for a country with such a small population, over 200 still missing. My heart goes out to all those people who have lost loved ones and the only way i know to help is to give blood so Lachlan and I will do that tomorrow.
Whats really beautiful to see is how helpful everyone is being. The arrival of teams from Singapore, Japan and Taiwan is giving search and rescue the opportunity to search sites they haven’t yet had the resources to investigate. Australia is also helping out alot!
