Lori Harder
2010 Fitness America Figure Tall Class - 3rd place and Ms. Bikini Universe 2010
You can stop being so amazing now Lori...
ANYWAY
Last night Lachlan took me out on an impromptu dinner :)
It was cute we went to a Mongolian restaurant were you choose what you want to put into your stirfry and they cook it on a hot plate for you.
SO YUMMY! and I confess, I had 2 mini pancakes with icecream, maple syrup and fruit for dessert... I was good all week so I didn't feel bad about it.
Back on track today :)
I made a list of what i need for RNV, 4 days camping, i get so excited everytime i think about it!
Its like the only time i drink each year, im taking vodka and this carbonated water that tastes like fanta seriously!
Thats the cleanest drink i can think of, and im not letting go of my good diet while im down there either, im packing a box of me muscle 2 go protein bars and protein powder also!
I also have to add that its SHARK WEEK on the discovery channel! lach n I sat for ages watching the Great Whites leap out of the water, theyre so HUGE it gets me everytime!

Progression
This is my plan from the last 4 weeks
Look how messed up the paper is, thats a signifier for how hardcore i worked :)
I have new plan now and im pleased to report that im on track and eating clean!
I have two new strategys that have been working for me.
1.
I used to think about my progress as if i had till April to sort my body out. It made it soo much easier for me to say meh whats one day of crappy food going to do. Then 10 million cheat days would follow with that same mentality.
NOW I think about it as if I have the day to get it right. I set goals for the day to meet like today ive got to do legs + abs and at least a 45minute brisk walk and my 6 meals including protein and veges. Its harder to cheat because if i have one thing, ive ruined the day, so im less likely to want to ruin it. And its been working!
2.
Im trying to think of food as a fuel rather than something to do. I feel hungry, i have something clean to eat..the hunger goes away and i get on with my daily tasks.
So all positive here.
Counting down to Rhythm and Vines, its less than a month away *GASP*

Dont panic
Legend has it that 90% of what we worry about never comes to pass.
Whether that is statistically precise or not, there's probably some truth to it in your life.
How much of our lives do we miss because we're agonizing over what might happen down the road?
How often do we fail to act--even if it's the right thing to do--because we fear any number of possible consequences?
Fretting over the future doesn't solve any impending problems. It only paralyzes your actions of the present. It stresses you out, makes you mentally and physically tired, and saps all the fun out of what could have been another great day.
Next time you start to worry about what might happen, think of this:
You can prepare, but you cannot predict. So do what you can and forget what you cannot.

Take me away
Ive always said that since i finish my degree at the end of 2011, im going to somehow travel the world in 2012. I told dad i wouldnt have a 21st bday party as my bday falls right in exam time and my family is ACTUALLY MASSIVE it would be such a mish to organise..
So he said instead of a bar tab (i dont drink so thats lame)
i can have the moolah towards my trip.
YIPPEEE
At first i was set on going on camp america somewhere as various friends said it was there experience of a lifetime, but i think contiki sounds way more experimental and fun!
CONTIKI TOURS!
Im scoping out the website looking at pricing etc, tenting the cheapest and its fine by me as long as i get to see as much as possible (europe that is) and stay as long as possible.
