Cat Lady

Had the most riveting 45 minute train ride into uni yesterday.

So i jumped on at my usual stop and since i get motion sickness if i sit backwards on the train i grabbed a seat looking forwards at a couple perpendicular seats

Imagine the person who took this photo is on the window seat and im next to them, there was a very large white woman sitting in the seat next to that pole. she had that kinda regrowth which was half ginger half grey with a half pony tail and a middle part with two strands hanging at the front.

Anyway so i sat down had my ipod on full blast and started to note down in my diary when i felt a tap on the knee.

It was the woman. "Are you at uni tech?" i could on vaguely here. "are you at uni tech?" she asked as i fumbled to take off my earphones in the middle of an important song of course.
"ah no? i'm at AUT why do you ask?", "oh" she said with great passion, "well im at uni tech studying animal management". and then i thought oh great, here we go

Her breath had that morning smell like when you dribble in your sleep and i was lucky enough to be a seat away from her that i only got the after effects of the wofting odor.

"Are you going all the way to Britomart?" she asked, "yeah i am" i said. "oh yay!! same as me! im Michelle by the way"

"oh yay.......Im Shaye"

She then continued to tell me about her course/ life story about her and her partners recent separation, how shed been working voluntarily at her local cattery and not to mention the 14 cats she had at home.. Along with every cats name and description... i hate cats.

It was hard not to stare at certain aspects of her appearance. She would have been about 40 and was wearing a floral tent with sneakers, and her lips were scrunched up sour like a full time smoker and her teeth stained yellow.

I pulled out my remaining piece of gum and thought about giving it to her, but i thought it'd be a little rude sharing a piece with her and not having one myself. When the train got a little fuller a little asian woman sat in the seat between us which killed some of the conversation, although it was hard not to laugh while watching the facial expressions of the asian woman trying not to breathe in cat lady's wicked breath.

Felt so good to get out of there :)
